Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime - Deal or No Deal

Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime the recent instalment of year running device chain Redmi Note comes nothing new but with dual SIM support. This android powered smartphone comes with quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, the traditional specifications which almost all smartphone manufacturers (better not to include Oppo, Gionee, Videocon and LG) packing in their smartphones, While this smartphones becomes the best selling smartphone of the week on, the weak spots are visible on this smartphone too.

Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime - Deal or No Deal

Hopefully I recommend my friend to buy Mi 4i and with the help of this deal, today he finally ordered it. He is going through dilemma whether to buy this or Mi 4i. We're not saying this android phablet have serious issues but instead we're clearing the point for whom to buy this one and whom to not.

The Looks

Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime brings nothing new instead of the similar looks adaptations. The same rear, same camera placement, same colour and the same front. Xiaomi also need to improve their screen to body ratio as the big 5,5 inch display size also clumsy when keeping on pocket or holding in hand.

Looks are not that premium but still good for college goers and students. Working class people should buy an additional metal or mirror case to make it better. The phone is RIM less which makes it gives toyish impression too, like Redmi 2 Prime.

Deal? - No deal.

I highly recommend this android phone for game lovers who are low in budget. The smartphones packed with a Qualcomm quad core processor and 2GB RAM which are both sufficient to play some high end game. Take Adreno 306 GPU as Nvidia for smartphones, which deliver better graphic and performance and support DirectX and smooth out OpenGL games.

Deal or ... Deal, go with it for this purpose.

Dual 4G Standby

If you don't belong to the cities where 4G is available then you can pick some good phone in the similar range too (we recommend Iris X8). Dual standby means using 4G on both SIM simultaneously. As per your location, this feature juice your batter too.

Deal, or No Deal? It depends upon your location as we said.

Dual Band WiFi

Dual band WiFi gives you a freedom to use 802.11a or the 802.11b/g/n but not the both of them simultaneously. In simple words you can get advantage of latest 802.11 ac WiFi router to experience high speed internet. And the traditional 802.11b/g/n without any loss.

Yes offcourse this a green check for the buying reason.

USB On The Go Functionality

Not all smartphone gives you OTG support but none of any Xiaomi device lacks in it. OTG feature let you connect your USB storage device, Keyboard, Mouse, USB modem, Gamepad and also help you to charge other device right from your phone.

Saying, buy it now is not a good sign, this detailed review is just made for people with different preference. This smartphone device is good for students as they are more toward gaming and performance rather than looks. Either you need a smartphone for performance or a smartphone for casual use. This phone is for you. The only thing which lacks is look and screen to body ratio. But the 4G phone with such price range and Qualcomm powered processor is still a good choice.
