The second thing - Freedom 251 is a ditto copy of Adcom Ikon 4 or even a re-branded version of Ikon 4 which is currently available at a range of 4K. The first impression pics we have seen on NDTV is actually of Ikon 4 with whitener used to hide their name (take a look at Gadgets 360).
Now, the image set on their official sale site is changed to what looks like exact copy of Adcom Ikon 4 with no white fluid hiding the original branding. The old image display an android smartphone in white colour with capacitive button and golden colour rim. The newly used image display, what it looks like a iPhone 4 with single capacitive button for home navigation. See the comparison in below image.
Here comes the case of Copyright infringement, Aprat from the looks, most of the built-in icons used are of Apple iPhone 4. The browser, gallery, contact, messaging, call icons as seen in the below pic are of Apple iPhone. Bad Karma, duh.
Problem with purchasing Freedom 251 today also occurring with buyers, the Pay Now page is automatically refreshing and the delivery date is showing to be in between 4 months. There is no CoD option available as in case the phone is in their pre order state, but, they are not selling on Flipkart, Amazon.in or Snapdeal right. Now the question is whether to buy this phone or not?
Yet another point to be notice is that apart from looks and company profile is that Indian Cellular Association define the minimum price for 3G smartphone to be sold is Rs.2700. At a slightly higher price the company is selling Smart 101 with 4G option. It is impossible to say that a 3G phone in 2016 (and in a country like India) comes at even lower price than 1GB of 3G recharge, LOL.
And this company is founded by Cute Mohit, more about him is reported on Hindustan Time. Not just that, its one of the most fastest growing company in India too. Okay what about Karbonn, Lava, Micromax then?
Is freedom 251 is a scam or not, we can't say more about it. But let us what's your opinion about this India cheapest phone on comment. Must share this post with your friends.
